Today I played in the yard with Madison and Shadow. I love these ladies.

One of our own, Adam (Blink), will have shoes in Saturday's Atlanta installation of Sneaker Pimps. AM friends TindelMichi, Dosa (fresh off his Cut and Paste runner-up performance), and Urban Medium will be making live art, and Clipse is playing! Holy shitballs, this will be a great event.

Furry Animals

One of my best and oldest (as in how long we've known each other) friends, Matt Pensworth, and his lovely wife-to-be Valerie had an engagement party. They both love their Polaroid cameras, so they set up a photobooth style room and had everyone wear animal masks for portraits. The results were awesome, and everyone had a fucking blast. A keg of Sweetwater IPA and a few bottles of tequila made things even better.

Hell as a Hotel

Hmmmm. So I just finished No Exit by Sartre and I don't know what to say. All I could think of was how I would love to recreate the setting and do a photo shoot. One day. One day. It's an easy read, that is, if you don't mind reading about being in hell.

Remind Me to Never Go Here

A spider web was discovered that drapes 200 yards of trees, shrubs, and the ground across a trail in Texas's Lake Tawakoni State Park. Experts haven't yet determined the species of spider responsible. From the Associated Press:
"At first, it was so white it looked like fairyland," said Donna Garde, superintendent of the park about 45 miles east of Dallas. "Now it's filled with so many mosquitoes that it's turned a little brown. There are times you can literally hear the screech of millions of mosquitoes caught in those webs."

Spider experts say the web may have been constructed by social cobweb spiders, which work together, or could be the result of a mass dispersal in which the arachnids spin webs to spread out from one another.
